The terms of agreement apply to all therapy and counseling sessions, and they come into effect as soon as the client pays for the first session.

The counselor may decide to stop counseling the client upon any failure to uphold the terms of agreement.

Disclaimer: Muslima Coaching is a coaching and counseling service that is centered around professional coaching tactics, CBT therapy techniques, counseling strategies, and religious guidance. No refunds will be given for past sessions.

Section A. Session Structure

  1. The first session is an online 30-minute assessment session. The client is not bound to sign up for follow-up sessions.
  2. Each follow-up session consists of an in-person 60-minute session centered around a specific topic.
  3. Both the client and counselor will previously agree upon the day and time of each session. Appointments must be arranged 48 hours prior to the meeting.
  4. The online assessment session is 25 British pounds for 30 minutes.
  5. In-person sessions are 60 British pounds per 60-minute session.
  6. If the session continues past 60 minutes, the client will be charged per 15-minute block with an additional 15 British pounds for the extra time that was given.
  7. If the session is arranged less than 48 hours in advance, it will be considered an emergency meeting, and the cost will be double.
  8. The client determines if she would like to continue with the sessions and is not bound by any time period, unless a specific number was agreed upon at the offer of the contract.
  9. If the client does not want to sign up for follow-up sessions, no refund will be given for the assessment session.
  10. Once paid, all session fees are non-refundable.

Section B. Session Location

  1. The 30-minute assessment session is held online via Zoom as a video call.
  2. In-person sessions are held at a location in London (RM6). The full address will be provided only after the appointment is confirmed.

Section C. Privacy & Respect

  1. Sessions are confidential except where there are safeguarding concerns, risk of harm to self or others, or legal obligations requiring disclosure.
  2. The client and counselor agree to communicate respectfully and maintain appropriate professional boundaries throughout the therapeutic relationship.
  3. The counselor reserves the right to take notes about what is mentioned during the session. Client files will be retained by Muslima Coaching for 10 years and stored securely using password-protected cloud-based storage.
  4. The counselor reserves the right to consult Muslima Coaching’s internal advisor/supervisor in matters that may require a second opinion. This decision is left to the counselor’s discretion.
  5. Every reasonable effort will be made to maintain privacy and confidentiality during in-person sessions. The therapy room will be used as a private space, and the therapist will take reasonable steps to prevent conversations from being overheard.
  6. Clients promise to not photograph the therapy location or disclose the address to third parties without permission.
  7. Clients should not arrive at the therapy location outside their scheduled appointment, attempt to contact the counselor at the location for non-therapeutic purposes, or attempt to enter the location without being invited.
  8. Clients are expected to treat the therapy location with reasonable care. Where deliberate or negligent damage is caused, the counselor reserves the right to seek reasonable compensation for the resulting loss.

Section D. In-Person Session Logistics

  1. Sessions will start on time.
  2. Clients should arrive no more than 5 minutes before their schedule appointment and remain outside the property until the counselor is ready to receive them.
  3. A doorbell camera is in operation for home security. Any footage captured is kept securely and is not shared with third parties, except where required by law.
  4. At the conclusion of the session, the client will leave the therapy location promptly to maintain the privacy of subsequent clients.
  5. Children are not permitted to attend the session. This is to ensure maximum concentration.
  6. The therapy location is not an emergency or crisis service. If a client experiences a medical or mental health emergency during an in-person session, appropriate emergency or crisis services may be contacted where necessary.

Section E. Homework

  1. The client promises to execute the counselor’s suggestions and to complete the homework assignments to the best of her ability.
  2. The counselor may stop counseling the client upon the failure to attempt the suggestions or homework assignments. No refunds will be given.

Section F. Email Support

  1. The client is given unlimited email access to the counselor during the course of counseling and therapy.
  2. The counselor will respond within 72 hours unless there are unexpected issues or emergency circumstances.
  3. The counselor may suggest that the email content be discussed in a session instead of through email.

Section G. Sharing Copyrighted Material

  1. The client is not permitted to copy, share, distribute, or use any copyrighted material of Muslima Coaching without prior permission from Muslima Coaching.
  2. All PDF and Word Documents are permitted to be saved to the client’s computer.

Section H. Recording Sessions

  1. The client is not permitted to record the sessions, whether using audio or video.
  2. The counselor will not accept requests to be recorded.

Section I. Missed Sessions Due To Client & Cancellations

  1. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the session date/time can be rescheduled within 2 months. After 2 months, the session is forfeited. Refunds requested within 2 months of cancellation may be offered, subject to a 10% processing fee.
  2. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours‘ notice are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. This may include cancellations due to illness or personal emergencies, but exceptions may be made at the counselor’s discretion.
  3. If a client does not show up within the first 15 minutes of the session, the counselor reserves the right to cancel the session. No refunds will be given.
  4. No-show clients or frequent cancellations may prevent the opportunity to book future appointments.
  5. Clients should not attend an in-person session if they are experiencing an infectious illness or symptoms that may reasonably place the counselor or others at risk. The counselor may request that the session is moved online or rescheduled where appropriate.
  6. Where adverse weather, public transport disruption, or other circumstances make it unsafe or impractical for the client to attend an in-person session, the session may be moved online.

Section J. Missed Sessions Due to Counselor & Cancellations

  1. Any sessions missed due to the counselor’s absence will be made up upon further notice of the counselor’s circumstances.
  2. The counselor may cancel a session appointment if full payment is not received 24 hours before the session begins. Full payment is the only means to officially confirm the appointment slot.
  3. The counselor may cancel a session appointment if the client’s questionnaire is not submitted at least 24 hours before the time the first session begins.
  4. The counselor may cancel future sessions if she feels that the client is not cooperating with her. No refunds will be given for sessions that were conducted.
  5. The counselor may redirect the client to professional psychological or mental health services if she believes the client’s circumstances require it or would better benefit from it. No refunds will be given for sessions that were conducted.
  6. In-person sessions are offered at the counselor’s discretion and may not be suitable for every client or presenting issue. The counselor may recommend that sessions take place online for the client’s wellbeing.
  7. The counselor can terminate in-person sessions if there are safety concerns. Abusive, threatening, or intimidating behavior will not be tolerated.

Section K. Payment

  1. Once paid, all fees are non-refundable.
  2. Fees for each session must be paid 48 hours prior to the session start unless further agreed upon by the counselor.
