“Garments For Each Other”

Premarital Coaching Program

Choosing who you marry is one of the most important decisions that you will ever make for your life.

Marriage is full-time worship and a successful marriage can be a means for you to enter Paradise.

Allah Most High says:

“They are a garment for you and you are a garment for them.”

(Qur’an, 2:187)

Allah Most High compares the relationship between spouses to a garment that covers the body.

Just like a garment, spouses will cling to each other when cooperating in unison.

Just like a garment, spouses must beautify each other by consistently acting with good character.

Just like a garment, spouses need to be a protection for each other by fulfilling each person’s unique needs.

The way you treat each other will greatly impact the quality of your worldly life. In fact, happily married couples have longer lifespans and are less likely to have poor mental health – whereas the opposite is sadly true.

This is why it is extremely important to exert oneself to find the right spouse and learn how to manage a blissful marital relationship from the start.

Muslima Coaching’s “Garments For Each Other” Premarital Coaching Program educates you and your potential spouse about the realities of marriage and how to determine if you are a good match BEFORE tying the knot.

Q: How are sessions run?

Sessions are conducted in a comfortable and relaxed environment via Zoom or in person. Clients can ask as many marriage questions as they like and consult the coach for her professional opinion.

Q: What tools are given to help determine compatibility?

Weekly assignments will be given to further assist the clients in getting to know each other and determining compatibility in-between session dates.

These consist of quizzes and specific questions that will give more direction to their conversations.

Clients can consult the coach for her professional opinion if needed. Getting another person’s perspective, especially by someone experienced in dealing with marriage problems, can be very helpful.

Q: Will a recommended book list be provided?

Yes, a list of books will be provided if clients desire to read more about marriage. However, it must be mentioned that marriage is not a university course. It is living real life with a real person. Therefore, reading books is not a sufficient way to understand how to practically live out a marriage. Rather, learning and speaking with someone who deals with marriage problems is one of the best ways.
