Our Couples Coaching will help you and your spouse determine how to assess the state of your marriage and improve it.

With our coaching, you will discover your relationship’s strengths and weaknesses, and gain insight on where your main problem areas may lie.

Realistic solutions will be suggested and helpful tactics will be taught based on your circumstances. InshaAllah the coaching will guide you and your spouse towards taking the right steps in improving and bettering your marriage.

Q: What is Muslima Coaching’s understanding of a successful Muslim marriage based upon?

We believe that a successful Muslim marriage is based upon the teachings of Allah Most High and His Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace). The best examples can be seen within the marriages between the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) and his wives (Allah be pleased with them).

We realize from their stories that a successful Muslim marriage is built and sustained through showing love, compassion, consideration, respect, appreciation, gratitude, patience, and sacrifice towards each other.

Furthermore, a successful Muslim couple can identify and empathize with each other’s needs, boundaries, and vulnerabilities. At the heart of it, the two are best friends.

Q: What is the Successful Muslim Couples Paradigm™?

Based on our coaching and personal experiences, Muslima Coaching created a practical framework for evaluating a couple’s relationship, known as the Successful Muslim Couples Paradigm™.

We’ve deduced that successful Muslim couples are often excelling in love because they’ve established a powerful:

  • Spiritual Connection
  • Emotional Connection
  • Communication Connection
  • Conflict Connection
  • Physical Connection

These connections usually do not happen by chance, but rather, they are created and maintained through everyday choice.

Is your marriage struggling in any of these areas? It is okay if you feel stuck and do not know which steps to take!

Often enough, there is a need for someone to actively guide a couple on how to put these principles into practice and make the best choices for their relationship. What many people do not realize is that even the most successful couples seek advice from a third party!

Our couples coaching focuses on developing and strengthening these key areas. Our coaching is solution-based. It is more than talking about feelings and disagreements, but it’s about learning how to live with each other in a way that is pleasing to Allah Most High.

There’s no need to wonder anymore why your marriage is so different from everyone else’s relationship. We help you understand what successful Muslim couples do to make their marriages thrive and how you can do the same inshaAllah.

Q: What is the difference between coaching and counseling? Do you deal with all types of marriage problems?

Read about the difference between coaching and counseling here inshaAllah.

We try to help whoever we can, but we do not deal with every type of problem. Our coaching is not suitable for clients who experience physical abuse, substance abuse, or infidelity. We also do not coach clients who have a medically diagnosed psychological disorder or personality disorder. Read more about Who We Cannot Help here.

Q: What are sessions like?

Sessions are conducted in a comfortable, friendly environment. Clients are encouraged to be open and honest about their situation and feelings.

During each session, the coach will focus on understanding the dynamic of the clients’ relationship, particularly in the areas of emotional safety/support, communication, and conflict resolution.

Through the coach’s questions and analysis, clients will begin to gain greater clarity about their marital situation.

Exercises may be given within the session to help the couples consolidate their understanding and strengthen their bond.

The coach then gives the clients practical homework to work upon during the week and the follow-up sessions are tailored around the needs of the clients that arise through practicing the homework inshaAllah.
