Makkah is a special city for a heart that is alive. It is the original home of the Prophet ﷺ, the sanctuary in which Allah’s house is situated, and the birthplace of Islam.

Focusing one’s attention on performing worship is the way of those with true intellect. Traveling to Makkah is an opening to travel to Allah through one’s repentance, reflection, and determination to start anew.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “When carried to his grave, a dead person is followed by three things, two of which return and one remains with him. His relatives, his property, and his deeds follow him. His relatives and property return back while his deeds remain with him.”‘ (Bukhari)
