Course Logistics

  • Classes are based upon various Hanafi fiqh texts on the topic of menstruation. 

  • Classes are live with video and interactive

  • Recordings available. Students have access to the recordings for up to 2 months after the course finishes. 

  • Discussion forum available for questions and answers.

  • Simple homework assignments to confirm student understanding.

  • Teens only. Students must be ages 13-16 years old to attend.

  • Menstruating teens only. Students must have experienced at least one menstrual cycle. This course is not for pre-pubescent girls.

The Teacher

Naielah Ackbarali is the founder and CEO of Muslima Coaching. She is passionate about inspiring Muslim women by way of spreading the beauty of living an Islamic life. 

She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and moved to South Florida in her childhood. She obtained her BA degree from Florida State University with a double major in International Affairs and Sociology. In her early twenties, she moved to Amman, Jordan to study classical Arabic at the Qasid Institute.

In 2007, she married her husband and moved to Damascus, Syria, where she lived for almost 6 years, while simultaneously studying various Islamic sciences with traditional scholars of the Hanafi madhhab. She moved back to Jordan in December 2012 where she is still currently residing alhamduliLlah. She continues to study the deen with scholars in Amman.

Her teachers include Sheikh Hassan al-Hindy, Sheikh Adnan Darwish, Sheikh Abdullah Rahhal, Sheikh AbdurRahman Arjan, Sheikh Ashraf Muneeb, Ustadha Hedaya Hartford, Sheikh Hamza Karamali, and Sheikh Salim Abu Bakr al-Khateeb (Shafii). 

Naielah teaches Hanafi fiqh to women and young adults. She has spent the past 14 years solving menstruation problems for both women and teens in the Hanafi and Shafii madhhab. 

Naielah is a trained wife coach, certified life coach, and a certified NLP Master Practitioner.

She is an author and has written five books. (Find them on Amazon.)

In her free time, Naielah practices developing her cooking/baking skills.

Fiqh For Teens: Menstruation

Date: Every Sunday for six weeks. Classes start Sunday, December 29th. 

(Actual Dates: Dec 29th, Jan 5th, Jan 12th, Jan 19th, Jan 26th, Feb 2nd)
