May peace and blessings be upon our beloved Messenger Muhammad, the Chosen One.
Naielah Ackbarali is the founder and CEO of Muslima Coaching. She is passionate about inspiring Muslim women by way of spreading the beauty of living an Islamic life.
She was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and moved to South Florida in her childhood. She obtained her BA degree from Florida State University with a double major in International Affairs and Sociology. In her early twenties, she moved to Amman, Jordan where she studied classical Arabic at the Qasid Institute, Hanafi fiqh with Sheikh Faraz Rabbani, and aqida with Sheikh Hamza Karamali.
In 2007, she married her husband and moved to Damascus, Syria, where she lived for almost 6 years, while simultaneously studying various Islamic sciences with top traditional scholars of the Hanafi madhhab, like Sheikh Hassan al-Hindy, Sheikh Adnan Darwish, Sheikh AbdurRahman Arjan, and Sheikh Abdullah Rahal. She moved back to Jordan in December 2012 where she continued to study the deen with scholars like Sheikh Salim ibn Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr al-Khatib (Shafii menses) and others. In mid-2021, she relocated to London, UK.
Naielah has a strong interest in women’s issues, like the fiqh of menstruation and marriage. She has spent the past 14 years studying and solving menstruation problems in the Hanafi and Shafii madhhab.
In her spare time, she teaches Hanafi fiqh to both women and young adults. Read student testimonials here.
In 2020, she launched a fiqh Answers Service for Women on the Muslima Coaching website, where free answers related to women’s issues can be easily accessed.
Naielah is a trained strategic relationship coach, certified life coach, and a certified NLP Master Practitioner. Combined with her knowledge of the shariah sciences, coaching experience, and personal marriage of 14 years, she also offers faith-based marriage coaching and relationship advice.
Naielah is an author and has written five books:
