AlhamduliLlah, the Saudis keep the public bathrooms quite clean.
In Makkah, there are two main locations for women’s bathrooms.
- Next to the Clock Tower Hotel, to the left
- Outside of Marwa
Inside the mosque, there are no bathrooms but there are wudu facilities on the basement floor once you come down the escalators. They are stationed at the very back and you may have to look very closely to find them. The ones that are designated for women have green curtains hanging at their entrances.
In Madina, there is a bathroom and wudu area outside the women’s section of the mosque. Go down the escalator or stairs to use it.
